The A380 is more comfortable (imo) and much much quieter. That said I sleep better on the 747 as the A380 is so quiet that you hear every word and noise anybody else makes, even with good quality noise cancelling headphones. On the 747 the air noise kills the chatter etc. and in turn is blanked out by the headphones.
So, rather strangely, next time I'm going to book onto the less comfortable and noisier plane so I sleep better.....
Looking forward to getting back to the UK on Thursday but not to the temperature difference!
