I rang VH yesterday looking for a quote on a fly cruise advertised on the VH website (as it wouldn't let me progress, advising me to ring VH and quote a reference number which I did).I asked for a price minus the 10% discount VH are offering until the end of the month and I was told there was no 10% VH discount on offer (??) so I asked to use my FVC status (I've kept my 10% discount option). The agent had no idea what I was on about and thought I was forces personnel looking for a discount (which is apparently something VH are considering offering). No, I explained, Frequent Virgin Club. He went away and came back with the same response -No. No Virgin element to the fly cruise so no VH discount or FVC discount. But it's advertised on your VH website as a VH offering? Doesn't matter he says.
Can one of the VH lurkers please clarify the position of the current VH promotional discount and also the 10% FVC discount. Please bring back the dedicated FVC phone line - at least when this was operational staff had some idea about the benefits of the scheme.

It may be worth remembering that VH, based in Crawley & Virgin Holidays Cruises based in Swindon, are totally seperate companies and therefore probably have different rules.
