Mrs Scrooge just yelled that VS are having a sale, $159 from LAS to LGW, however once you add the fuel surcharge and fee's the ticket comes out to $850 ,....so nothing amazing on the total fare...and a very Ryan air type BS with the fee's, the sooner the airlines over here have to disclose the full fare up front the better.

The VS YQ charge (which I think is the fuel surcharge) for Y return flights to LAS is currently showing as £175 but no idea if that's gone up or down recently? That does sound a lot though when you compare to other US VS destinations:
EWR/JFK/MIA/MCO/ORD/BOS/IAD = £111
SFO = £135
LAX = £137

Another strange one with Taxes & Surcharges :
LGW - MCO in March, same dates.
Reward flight - 25k miles ( plus £175 taxes & charges )
Economy flight - £325 ( £124 plus £201 in taxes & charges )
Any ideas why the difference in charges ???? !!!

There's always been slight difference in the tax you pay for revenue and reward VS fares for some strange reason.
