Earning Virgin points on SAS?

Hi

I use SAS occasionally, and always collect the Virgin miles for these flights (every little helps). I went to Copenhagen in January, and got the miles. I've just booked again for Copenhagen, and couldn't see Virgin listed on the website for my points to go to

So I've phoned SAS, and they've added my Virgin number to the reservation. The SAS computer doesn't seem to like this, as it now lists ???VS?? 804etc

My question is have SAS stopped giving Virgin miles? The SAS site doesn't mention Virgin. But the Virgin site says you still get miles on SAS

Help!

Not that I know off, then again when I was flying with US they claimed they were not a partner with BA, even though it says so right on the wall behind them at LAS, so I would not read into SAS not knowing.

It's more complex than that. In January, when I booked on the SAS site it gave me the opportunity to enter my virgin number. Now it doesn't

Give the FC a call then just to be sure.

Called FC

They say you can't spend Virgin Miles on SAS anymore, but you CAN still earn them

When I explained that the SAS computer says 'no' to Virgin FC number (or rather it doesn't give you the chance to put them in) then FC replied 'save the boarding cards & send 'em in!'

I'll post in a few months as to whether I ever get these miles.....
