This should be something to see - one of our 747s performing a flypast with the red arrows at Biggin Hill on 28th June. Wonder if she'll do a loop-da-loop?

Does that mean SRB has finally gotten the engines to run on Tanqueray?

Not sure Virgin's 744s are certified for aerobatic manoeuvres... [;)]

However, SAA pilots often proved you can have a lot of fun with an empty jumbo.

I have elevated you to supercool now[^]

I had to time one of my Funerals for a flypast, I had a 10 second margin to arrive at the church just as the arrow did.

I had lunch with one of the Red Arrows pilots a few years ago at Farnborough. Later on, all the Red Arrows pilots turned up at the same chalet (after their flying display) for what can only be described as a bit of a drinking session and party into the early hours of the morning. (NB: This was on the last day of Farnborough, when they had no flying duties the following day).

It was a good evening/night - but the headache the following day... ooh.

One of the Reds was my best man [8D] and I now have an invite for a flight with him in an aerobatic plane he's currently completing [:0]...
