Currently sat in the new 1st class lounge at Euston, have to say it's much better than the old one. Ample space to work, free wifi and a couple of computers for internet access in case you don't have your own. Several comfy chairs to relax in.

Although a few little things, you have to pay for alcohol only soft drinks and tea/coffeee are free. Snacks are almost non existant, only a few packs of biscuits or nuts.

They are trialling a new concierge system for booking of your train/flight tickets etc. Although they failed the first test when i asked if he could change my seats on the train. Apparently only the guard can do this !

Showers are available if you need them although haven't tried them.

Anyway off to the train now for a couple of hours to sunny Liverpool, shame you don't get frequent flying miles !

Did you see any limes at the bar?

You have always had to pay for alcoholic drinks in the Virgin Train lounges (and GNER/National express too for that matter) and the snacks have also always being rather desultory too. The booze is only free in 1st Class on the trains.
