VA showing no UC M+M....

... Hi looking at bookings for MAN - MCO 6/3/2010 to 26/3/2010. Would love to book UC and have enough miles. Search shows no availability, but expertflyer shows all seats available? Is this normal?

Also, I will have a VA Amex companion award available soon, can I use this to book UC?

And (sorry for multiple questions) does anyone have any idea when these dates might be included in a sale? I'm not asking you to predict the future, but when have these sales been in the past please?

Thanks for reading - and hopefully answering one or more!

Jackie

I've been looking at UC M+M on the Man - Mco route and they are like hen's teeth.

They have been some available for 2009 flights - 2010 might be to soon yet.

Only 14 seats available, so I imagine VS don't see the need to offer the M+M option all that much.

You could ring the Flying Club, but just keep checking on the VS website.

Easter in 2010 falls on the first weekend in April (2nd - 5th) and it is possible that many schools will on holiday towards the end of March increasing the demand at that time of the year.

You can keep hoping, but I suspect that the chances of grabbing M+M seats will be remote

Jax1970 - as stevebrass says, availabity for a G is almost non-existant on the MCO route.

I nearly fell off my chair when I found TWO on the outbound LGW - MCO for Oct. I bagged them both as I have never seen ONE before.

Re the companion flight - you can only use this against a full fare J class ticket and you will pick up 2 x Z classes cheaper than 1 J (plus taxes etc for the companion. The other thing to bare in mind is that you will need a G available to use the companion voucher.

Thanks - looks like it's PE or cash for me then!
