V-Flyer Drag Run?

Hmmm... It would be so tempting for V-Flyer regulars to recreate this (Link) - but where would we get the uniforms (and permission to film at an airport? [;)]

Well the original was filmed at Ascot Racecourse and the shoes are from Aldo so very easy to recreate [:D]

Edit: The shoes are currently on sale too

Could get the basis for the uniforms here;

Does it have to be an airport. I mean could we use a shopping centre.

What a good idea, I think Mat and Dean should be heavily involved in any VF entry, and may I also suggest LRoM for a starting role (either the lead CC member, or the little girl with the teddy who gets waved at.

V-flyer recreation?
mix of assorted/clashing A&F casual attire, flowery shirts, nipple rings, thinning hair& beer bellies, lumbering through airport, with oversized carry-ons, clunching Limes and waving loyalty cards, Neil in a Gimp suit carrying LRoM & HF's throne, trailing banners for Bar & Entrail Shack. GJ twirling an oversized amenity kit on a stick at the front in time with the music..
The options are endless...

LOL This was something some of the bitches mused about on the way out to B2B. I remember talking about getting the boys all into red hostie outfits and me playing the pilot for a proper role reversal [:)]

Thanks,
Sarah

Trust you to look at the prize while everyone else is looking at the glamour [;)]

The suggestion as you as the kid with the teddy is inspired... [:)]

If we are picking people fpr role, we HAVE to have Howard Long as the 80's businessman on the old mobile phone [:D]

Thanks,
Sarah

Better do it quick though, if I am remembering there is only a 2 week window to get the entries in, also I think it is two seats in PE.

I am up for this. I still have an 80's Motorola Shoe box Mobile phone somewhere.
Getting permission to film it in a shopping centre will be difficult.
It might be easier to film in an office environment.
Our campus here has an airport / shopping centre feel for it.
If this is a go, I'll make some enquiries.

Oh and we have Decker with his horrible 80's style hoody to help create the 80's look and feel[y]

Oh and you could get a killer 80's perm Sarah[}:)]

What about having someone in a BA uniform on a phone cancelling the UC Virgin limos?

Ok, it looks like there's some interest; but we'd have to act quick.

I'm happy to film / edit it. I have all the equipment I use for corporate and theatre filming, so should be up to the job.

UKCobra - if you can get a filming location, that would be rather splendid.

Who wants to sort out costumes / casting / props / etc.

I wanna be the older girl in the shop who looks over her sunglasses... [;)] Isn't she an original VS hostie in real life?

My Dad still has lots of bits of his old BA uniform (blazers, ties, hats, etc), so we can use that for the Dirty Tricks piss take.

Email sent to try and get some approval to use our ground floor out of hours. Note I am away most of next week, so this is going to be very tricky.

Can't we collectively abuse our new Regus vouchers?
