Best A340-600 UC seats for couples?

Just booked my first ever Upper Class holiday, out to SFO and flying back from LAX.
Thanks to a seat-rating from elliott have picked perfect seats for the outbound but the return journey is an A340-600 and I can't work out which seats would be most suitable for a couple.
The UC cabin is a surprise for the girlfriend but it won't be such a nice surprise if we end up not being 'next' to each other. [:I]
Can anyone offer any suggestions?

The
seat ratings page should help you here.
If you are travelling as a couple then seats 4/5K are usually my choice. Seats in that first K section face a 'wall' so they are very private, and so far away from the bar that they are nice and private.
This threadon a very similar note gives a few opinions on the subject and might be helpful.
Thanks,
Sarah

Just thought I'd drop my own question on the same subject onto this thread rather than starting a new one!
We are on an a340-600 to Shanghai for our first ever upper class trip in April, v exciting!
My question is around seating. What is the difference between 9/10a (our current seats) and 4/5k which seem to be the prefered seats for many on here? Both face the wall and I'm told it's better to be one in front of the other as a couple, just wondering what the benefits of 4/5 are over 9/10?

Having just flown our first A346 UC flights, in 9/10A, I would say the only real difference is that with 4/5K you are further away from the bar. This could be useful if there is a loud group at the bar, but I can honestly say, we weren't affected by the bar noise on either of our flights. The other thing about the lower number K seats is that you get served first, so again, if you wanted to get food quickly and then get maximum sleep these could gain you an extra 20mins or so, but again, no real issue.
Both sets face a wall, so privacy is not an issue, and I honestly think that they are very similar, we have booked 9/10A again for our flight to LAX next year.
Oh, just one other thing, the bassinet position for the UC cabin is 8D/G so there is the potential of a baby near you in 9/10A, however we had a baby on our return flight and it never used the bassinet, it was in its mothers suite, 7D, the whole flight, and we never heard a single noise from it.

Neil - You had a baby? On a flight? Where's that in your TR??? [:?]
At any rate, back OT, you can't go wrong with any recommendation from HighFlyer so rest easy and enjoy your flight!
