Thanks.[y]

Not on the website yet. [:D]

Am I right in assuming it is a Y fare sale only? [V]
PE loads must be really good right now. [:w]

With BA having a WT+ sale, I can't see it being too long before VS add theirs.

These fares have now been filed in the systems so should be showing on the flight booking tool.

Also Caribbean Eco and Pre Eco fares, Africa Upper Class but have run out of steam.

NYC for less than 500 is a pretty good PE fare, and is very tempting for a post New Year shopping trip.

Do these fares include taxes? If it does then they seem to be quite good!

Try tomorrow - I don't think VS have loaded them yet. [;)]

eejp1007 always seems to get the info ahead of its release to the general populace. [oo]

I'm glad I'd been holding off on my LAS trip for November. The BA price at 379 is good, and I'm very tempted to give BA a try (for the first time), but if VS comes out at anywhere near the price suggested above, I know where my money's going.

Not really that funny as BA had those price cuts on the booking system in the morning[;)] and there's more routes available than advertised. As usual it's VS following BA on the sale front IMO.

Due to BA's recent 2 for 1 club offer we booked a return on that. Just booked at WT+ (bought a few miles) and did an MFU to club for early next year.
After our 2 for 1 club flight in Oct we'll have enough miles for another WT+ to Club MFU so, because of their 2 for 1 offer and superior burn rates on their flying club scheme BA have taken 3 bookings out of us and to think Virgin said the 2 for 1 offer was a gimmick and all that [:w][;)]

We all know that VS advertise their sales hours after BA release their fares, but does it really only take a few hours for VS to look at BAs offering, agree to match them (give or take 1) and get the system updated? I can imagine in any organisation this sort of thing takes a while, with people discussing what to do and which fares to match, but it's amazing how quickly VS react to these (unless they have prior knowledge?) The fares are there, just not showing on the first screen

Quote:

These fares are available until 10pm on 14 July 09.

Please note we are experiencing a few technical issues with the fares returned on the next screen of the flight booking process for some of the offers below. Please click on the lowest fare and the price will display correctly on the following screen.

Vegas on VS at 368 or BA at 378. Went for the BA option, as LHR is more convenient than LGW, and no early start required.

My first BA trip.

V interesting - bears up the comments on FT and other places that the BA flights are more conveniently timed and LHR is a better start point - hmmm [:?] how will VS react?

Just booked BA flights direct to Vegas too. Came in at 378 for econ and 553 for Econ/PE trip against VS 500 econ and 700ish for econ/PE. As I'm paying for the majority of it for my sister/brother in law's 50th and niece's 21st, obviously went for the cheaper option. Flight times are better for us though coming from the Midlands as we won't have to overnight it in a hotel and LHR is so much easier to get to.

The VS sale doesn't run up to the dates I wanted over the May Day bank holiday. Will have to join the BA flying club now and have yet another card to deal with.
