Miles/Tier Points Query...

Hello All!
I was wondering if someone could help me with a quick query....
I've just booked an economy flight to Barbados for next wendsday. (My last flight was Upper, so this is going to be hard turning right again!) I did a 'miles plus money' booking. On the amend booking page on the Virgin site, I don't have the option to enter my Flying Club number.
Will I still recieve tier points after my flight? Or does using my miles mean I don't get any?
Thanks for your help! [y]

No miles or tier points are earned on M+M fares

Not sure why, but I just got credited with miles and tp for a recent mpm flight I took from the US back to London - I was also under the impression that I wouldn't be given anything, so I don't know if it's a glitch or an intentional thing.

I would keep quiet about that Mark [;)]
M+M is classed as a reward flight - even though it is often not the cheapest flight available. As Penny has said, you shouldn't earn miles or TPs for the flight. [:w]

Lucky you, as Nick has said you shouldn't get any.
Was it a straight MPM for a Y fare upgraded with miles, something you do earn miles for?

It was a bit of an odd booking, only part of the trip was MPM, I had a connection on UA in W, followed by a transatlantic in X (which was the sector the MPM was supposedly applied to) and there's another X leg followed finally by another UA connection in Q this time.
Honestly, I'm confused myself here.
