V-Flyer

Hi all,

Quick question, we are flying to MIA from Heathrow T3 PE.

I have seen mention in trip reports that others flying PE have been going to the Clubhouse, I thought this was for UC passengers only?

How do we gain access and how much will it cost?

If you are travelling with Virgin Holidays you can buy entry, if available, for around 60 each I think.

or if you are a Flying Club gold card holder you get free entry into the CH.

I think there maybe another couple of airline frequent flyer programs gold card holders that can gain access, not too sure which ones through

So we paid lots of money to Virgin Atlantic for our PE tickets and have no access while someone else pays less for their ECON ticket with Virgin Holidays and can buy themselves in?

As an argument this one can go on and on. Arguably, the people booking with VH have paid Virgin Holidays more overall.

Also, some of the PE passengers mentioned that they were offered access at check-in which may (emphasising may) be an option.

The OP has a point especially as VH and VS are two totaly seperate companies.

I would like to see CH access for those booked & travelling in UC plus those who have a Gold (or higher) FC plus one guest. No paid access for anyone.

I have not heard of this - can you please name the source of this info ?

There WAS an offer some months back where PE PAX could book CH access at the time of their booking but I belive this is a time expired offer.

Maybe I got this mixed up and it was at the time of booking.

My point was that I was sure that at some stage VS were allowing non-gold PE pax into CH. But I don't want to get the OP's hopes up!

This was discussed here. it is only done at check-in, when capacity allows.
