Does anyone know if VS/BA are still offering discounts to AMS via LHR, I can't remember the name of the ticket.

I think Rome has being yielding some good BA J fares recently. The high Euro has buggered up most of the European gateway fares. If only we could have a return of those LIS fares.

The folk in the BA forum over on FlyerTalk are the best in answering this question, check out the BA forum itself for latest comments and look here
for a very brilliant guide on how to check and book these fares.

Unfortunately the FT info isn't as relevant as it use to be, as I mentioned above the Euro FX rate and repricing on the best routes of old has seriously eroded the value of the European fares. With the amount of recent UK sale fares offered by BA its just not worth the hassle of a Euro start as there is no great monetary saving, just a more flexible ticket.Unless of cause someone finds an ex euro pricing anomaly.[;)]

Yes I can understand that ... so even if you set your country location to say Portugal on the BA site and get UK Sterling rates, they'll convert those from the Euro equivalent regardless? And, as you say, maybe better to check out the next BA sale in any case?
