Hey folks,

Long time no post. I'm once again planning on jaunting, this time to Japan. I noticed today while looking at flights that the ANA codeshare in now in operation (woo hoo) and there's a later flight, a night flight with ANA which I'm very tempted to take.

I'm planning on a Z ticket in UC but I was wondering, if you're on the ANA flight do you end up in First Class or Business on an Upper Class ticket? I'm hoping it's the former. Has anyone else flow codeshare with ANA at all?

Ta in advance!

Lesley

Well given UC in business I'd say business...

Surely this is incorrect Virgin? From their flight selection screen.
The four digit flight number and aircraft type give it away slightly... but this is a bit lazy surely?

Flight number: VS 7802
Operated by: Virgin Atlantic Airways
Aircraft type: Boeing 777

On this note I have just been having a play with a booking on this.
If you book the cheapest ANA fare to fly on Virgin metal at the moment you can get them for GBP 587 as opposed to the VS fare which is GBP 650.

I now also find out that the lowest class on ANA corresponds to Q class on the VS ticket so you 12,440 miles and 4 tier points as opposed to half that you would get on the VS ticket.

Why would you buy a VS flight to Tokyo on VS if you can get the same ticket but with more miles and tier points cheaper!!
