APIS Glitch

Has anyone else experienced the 'glitch' in completing the API details on the 'Manage your bookings' page?

I completed the details for 3 of our party several weeks ago, then today I added info for the 4 person. Just to double check that I had entered the correct details, (I'm dreadful for checking and double checking everything!), I noticed that the birthday day was one day out and also the passport expiry date, the day was one day out[:?]
I corrected this and confirmed the details. I logged out and checked the other 3 members which were entered weeks ago. Again, everyone had the same problem, just one day out on the birthday and passport expiry date. I changed all the details to the correct dates only to find upon logging out and logging back in again, the dates were wrong again.

Will this cause a problem when checking in? How vital is it for the information to be accurate? I'm not sure what to do about it other than ring Virgin (spend ages trying to get through etc)!

You're not the only one!
I have informed VS!

Their internal dates are correct but the website is displaying incorrectly

Oh, it's a permanent issue ... not necessarily with DoBs, we've had sex changes for years and all sorts of oddities and it does pay to update it finally when doing online check-in. More typical VS Web site rubbish [B)].

Oh, anyone notice that doing online check-in the site now asks the security questions ... or did I miss this in some enormously obvious long thread recently?

I noticed it when I did OLCI from EWR but not on the outbound, so it must be very recent and I don't recall seeing it posted here till now. But then I'm old and blonde, so what do I know? [:w]

Mr Chris has oft appeared as 'female' on API but only if he goes in to check it

Yes, I too noticed it from the US but not out of the UK ... maybe it happened while we were abroad?

Well given that slinky and I both left our respective airports on the 16th and gliderpilot on the 20th and that is the first mention of it we can only assume that it is a very recent development
