Upgrading with miles

Apologies if this is a topic covered previously, had a search back but still none the wiser. Have bought a couple of B class tickets to NYC for the girlfriend and I with intention to upgrade to UC.

1)I was wondering how many miles the upgrade will cost me?

2)I have a couple Eco>Premium reward upgrades, can these be taken into account first, if so, what will be the miles outlay to go to UC?

Thanks

You can't use your Amex upgrades if you want a double upgrade - from the credit card T & C's.

Once you have redeemed your Premium Economy reward upgrade you may not redeem further miles to upgrade to Upper Class.

I have never done a double upgrade, but foresee them as being quite problematic - if they are even permitted. It may be one that you need to get definitive guidance from the Flying Club.

The upgrade from Econ to UC is 60k miles per person, round trip, plus the additional taxes.

You will not be able to use your PE voucher, this can only be applied to tickets originally 'bought' with miles, and once the upgrade has been applied to PE, you cannot then upgrade with either cash or miles to UC.

Thanks Neil, I was just going to add that if it is possible - someone on here will know how to do it. [8D][oo]
