Virgin Sales

So I know its impossible to pick when sales go on, but just looking for some informed opinion and speculation, especially because I don't know the travel patterns of people from the UK. Most of the cities (except Orlando! of course) have sales Dec 24-March 28th (or backdated sooner). Would you expect them to do this for Orlando as well in the near future? I'm planning on traveling Christmas night (MCO-LGW), so I wouldn't expect the load to be that heavy on the way out. BTW, awesome forum and a great resource. Thanks!

MCO is never on sale during the UK school holidays, in fact it performs fairly well year round (with at least a daily service from LGW).

Christmas is always a popular time of year to go out to Florida, and in my experience loads are fairly tight even on Christmas Day. I would say that anything around 600 in Y at this time of year for a direct flight to MCO is a good fair. I got a flight to MCO with DL via ATL two years ago at 450 which was booked in Oct (and it only went up after that).

I am presuming you are looking at flying Y.

Loads may well be light on Christmas Day and indeed the surrounding days to get out to Orlando.
But getting back anytime before mid January on a light load is a completely different matter.
