Just wondered if anyone had any 'updates' on the changes/refurb to the Gatwick clubhouse?

was in the V-Room yesterday and the girls said at the moment the refurb is looking to be finished end of November.
V-Room wasnt a bad alternative, they stamp your boarding pass so you can get free drinks at the bar

I do hope it's finished by the 22nd of November. That's when i'm flying from LGW next [8D]

I asked while on the phone to premier team about an hour ago, they still have December 1st as scheduled to open

Having just had an extended stay at the V Room I can say that the standard of service there is comparble to the Gatwick Clubhouse with some of the staff of the latter on hand to smooth things through[y]

Like many others, the re-opening of the new facility will be eagerly awaited[8D]

Am just in the V Room awaiting my Vegas flight,quite busy in here this morning, the girls say the new CH should be open by end of next week.

I heard from Premier team yesterday that it is opening on Monday 23rd

yes it is the 23rd November for the opening, although I heard that only a smaller selection of treatments will be on offer, trying to find out what that will be

According to VA Facebook page:
'Our Gatwick Clubhouse opens it's doors after a complete refurbishment, next Monday 23rd November. Full details and pictures to follow soon!'

So, unless anyone is in there earlier, I will be able to get and (hopefully) post pictures on Saturday 28th November from the Clubhouse

Marvellous news - we fly out on the 26th!! After sampling the CH before in LGW and LHR, wasn't really relishing comparing them to the V-Room!

Pics now posted, must say was an honour to be the first V-Flyer, very nice surprise to be invited in for the preview/test day (just a tad smug at that as was expecting the V-Room [}:)]). AlanA, am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did!
