im off to sfo in march and i have just noticed that the plane has changed to a 340-600 from a 747 i had previously chosen the rear 2 seats in economy due to the ability to recline without disturbing people but now i seem to have a toilet behind me on the new plane
what are seats 64a and 64c like it says good on your seat rating page but on seat guru it doesnt seem to say they are much good. should i change my seats ?
any info would be great
many many thanks
Mike

This is what
http://www.seatexpert.com says -
http://seatexpert.com/seatmap/362/Virgi ... Suites%29/Personaly I would avoid these seats like the plague because it's not necessarily the toilet that will disturb you but the fact that people will be lurking around your seats waiting that will be more disturbing.
LHR-SFO is getting onto be an 11 hr flight and thats a long time to have to suffer these disturbances.

64AC on the A346 are right in front of a toilet and galley. Not only will you have people queuing for the toilet right by your seat but on the night flight, there will be a constant light from the galley as there are no curtains there.
My advice is go for an A/C or H/K pair in the front half on the A346 between rows 31 and 40. The meal service also starts at the front of the cabin and works to the back giving you more chance of getting your first choice of meal.
I would also avoid 41-43AC due to the proximity to another toilet and also the crew rest door.

I'd also say avoid the back of the economy cabin on the A346 A/C for a couple of reasons:
Those washrooms at the back of the cabin are very noisy.
The economy cabin galley is also at the back so that will be noisey a lot of the time as well.
For me when I fly economy on the A346 I always try and sit as far forward as I can.

37-44 h&k 53-58 h&k are basically whats available still some duplication in a&c but there is even less choice over that side
thank you for your help so far i must admit i have never really slept on flights but the wife does.
i suppose i could try extra leg room seats although im not a giant i do find them restrictive normally as i cant sit bolt upright comfortably (yes i know i should pay for better seats but im poor so i cant

)
again many thanks
