Wow, 2 posts in one day, this is a record for me!

Just a quick question. I am 3 tier points of AU. If I fly Y return and thus hit AU after my return segment has landed will I be able to use the Revivals lounge? I get that I can't use the departure lounge on the return segment, but points are normally added sometime during the flight, or by claiming missing miles on landing. So could I go to Revivals and convince them to let me in? Or would it be futile?

I would say as you didnt fly that segment as a Gold then you wont be entitled to entrance, but I guess there is no hard in asking at the reception as long as you dont mind a 'not today but next time you are flying with us ....'

As suggested, you need to fly that sector into Heathrow as an AU for the entitlement to be valid.

You will need to wait for that flown sector to accrue onto your Flying Club statement for your status bump to happen.

As I thought. Oh well, I should fly my next outbound segment in PE and then I will have AU for the return segment... at these sale prices it would be mad not too! And then I can also start to wards renewing AU, which is going to be tough as this was a really heavy flying year for me.

This has come up before and ISTBC, but once you land you have completed the TP earning part and will have the 40 TP's required. The fact they haven't been added to your FC account shouldn't be an issue.

On landing, best bet is to give FC a call and confirm your AU status and ask them to call Revivals ahead of you.

I remember someone once advising to 'claim missing miles' on the website after you've reached the gate and you will get the full award as if you've flown

Only 10 fewer is still a lot! A year ago couldn't even made Silver. What a difference having a job (instead of being a student) makes! It's all quite exciting

If I do fly Y I will give it a try and report back. Though if I am somehow convinced to fly PE we might never know!

I type this sitting in the JFK clubhouse flying on econ ...., the flight I am checked in for has earnet me AU status.... and they let me in here

they called up flying club and got my tier points added on and let me straight in .. nice people that they are

now what does my AU status actually get me...?????

oh ps i should add i am also showing as AU on virgins main page now so revivals here i come also!!!!!
