Another APD refund cheque?

Arrived home today to find another cheque for 20.12 fir my APD refund claim. This is the 2nd cheque I have now recieved and is a good few months after the first one for the same amount.

Has anyone else recieved another one recently or am I just lucky? It is slightly odd as I only did one claim that covered all our flights!

It is interesting in that when I check recently I was told my claim was being dealt with but in the order they were received. I'm pretty sure I was quick off the blocks on this.

I wrote to [email protected]

This was part of the reply

'The first payments to qualifying claimants began on 5 June 2009. The Settlement Administrator will continue to make payments throughout the claim filing period, which ends on 31 December 2012. Approved claims are being paid in the order in which they are received.'

I received my second cheque yesterday too. [:D]

I know that I wasn't in the very early doors registering.[:?]

I know this doesn't help the V-Flyers waiting patiently.

After reading this as I haven't recieved any cheques yet I went on line to check my application and when I entered my Claim reference number and my name a page opened up saying Not Registered[:0]

So I have re registered so hopefully I haven't confused matters[?]

I had 3 separate claims.

1 with my BA and Virgin flights via my Flying Club references (Which they probably could n't find the Virgin one, due to flying club number changes)
1 with my family flying Virgin
1 with my family flying BA.

When I chased via telephone and spoke to the man who answers the hotline, claims 2 and 3 were not recognised, although they did nothing to tell me !

They were unable to find the Ticket reference, so I had to send copies of the booking confirmation emails.

Had a cheque when they started issuing in June time. No payment yet on the further flights I've supplied (since using my FF number didn't return all flights - see this post and previous in that thread) which I've now been querying since the cheque arrived...[V][ii]

Cheers
