When was the last time VS offered something new?

Gatwick Clubhouse aside (but a redesign so not new, but hopefully better) when was the last time VS offered some improvement to its landside or inflight service? All we have is cut after cut after cut ... whether spa bookings, drinks service, cheese on trays, T10 ... we could go on ...

The terminal within a terminal at T3, and probably one of the best, most recent offering by VS the private security channel for UC and Au pax, are the only ones I can really think of?! But they are a good couple of years old now.

A new check-in area and a corridor. Hmmm. Virgin spin at its best.

[:(!] Our Neil does not 'spin.' Why, he can barely manage a soft turn into the wind. Nonetheless, I think the points Neil makes above are valid. Those are two rather excellent improvements. Sad thing is, as a devoted HEX customer, I'll likely never know the new curbside experience for UC.

They are running a trial of new seating in Y.

I'd just prefer them to actually maintain a level of service, any level of service - good bad or indifferent. At least that way I would know what to expect rather than play the UC lottery of inedible or good food and exceedingly bad or excellent service [:)]

napamatt, you forgot the most important one - No Tanqueray 10 (but they do have limes)

Doh!
Though in NY last week, tried Tanqueray Rangpur - anyone else had this delicious beverage?

They offered a new inflight power adaptor for you to buy instead of the free adaptors they used to hand out. That was a recent new offering.

Just because you're a land side trollop, Benny, doesn't mean everyone else is.

Great for G&Ts IMO, not so fond of it for Martinis. The topic of preferred gin is a popular one around here...

I tried it a few weeks back (thanks to Catherine) too perfumed for my taste - prefer T10 or T (in that order).

and so was Bombay Saphire missing on my last flight. Well until I made a strong hint/suggestion/protestation to the FSM and that she should break open the duty free cart and release a bottle - which she did [y]
