Just to let you know, there has been an accident at KIN (Kingston Jamaica) involving an AA738, the AA aircraft over ran the runway, right now all flights are staying on the ground.

If you have friends or family on that flight you may want to keep an eye on the arrivals time as there is no way it's flying out tonight.

A little good news, it appears that there were no fatalities on the AA flight.

At one point it said 15:30 arrival tommorow instead of this morning, I think its going to be a long day/night for the people involved in VS70. Hope everyone on the AA flight make a quick recovery.

It must be ... the crew will be over hours, the flight won' be going anywhere for a while and since it's a weekly, there won't be any other crew immediately on site.

Shame for those coming home for Christmas but let's hope it can leave tomorrow. And I wonder what the knock on will be ...

With an aircraft stuck in Kingston & the remainder of the LGW/MAN fleet running with delays of anything up to 7hrs on average, the schedule has pretty much gone to pot ex-LGW/MAN.

I can foresee there are going to be quite a few delays over the coming days and many pax will have their Christmas plans disrupted in one way or another, irrespective of whether they'd been planning a cool Yule at home or a warmer Christmas in Orlando / the Caribbean.
