would you still travel on VS UC or another airline? E.g if you where going to NY would you use BA First or a private plane?

I'd love to try the CDC service, but I'd wait for new BA First and experience that I think.

If money were really no object I'd but VA and restore pretzels to Y and give you all an amenity kit to be proud of. Oh, and an extra sausage on the clubhouse breakfast.

I would like to experience BA 1st if I had the cash available, UCS is treat enough though, seems that might end up just a bigger seat with no trimmings soon though.

Ditto, EK's are pretty darn good too ... but if money really were no problem and my spaniels took to flying, it'd be a jet.

Emmmm, toughie.
As I've never flown first/upper/anything above economy yet(PE booked for May though). I think I would sample as many airlines as possible. Then poach their best crew and buy a private jet.

I would like a private jet but they problem would be I would not get to experience the fantatastic VS lounges and spa treatments unless I can brag my way in!

If money was no object, then I too would go for the private jet.
BUT! I would have to set up a mileage scheme. For myself and anyone who I took with me on a flight. And tier points.
That would get me lounge access. And make it almost impossibly difficult to get to Gold, so that when you get there it's a real privilege.
Have I spent too much time thinking this through?

I'm pretty sure you could buy your way in however, as money is no object just make sure your jet is equipped with all you need. Make it an A380 if needs be, offer to extened and maintain the runway for your local airport etc etc [:D]

If money was no object I'd buy Heathrow and everything that goes with it and go to town!

In yesterday's Sunday Times, Michael Winner talks about how he flew to MIA on 27 Dec., found the delays and security horrendous and decided to take a jet home. The cost, 44,000 - which was less than list because he was dead legging.

I would need to check the prices but from my knowledge of wet leases, that seems too much (depending on how close to departure he booked it).

From what I remember, a G-V goes for about $3500 an hour on a wet lease, Reiffer should have the figures somewhere.

If money is no object then definitely a private plane. If I have to go with an airline then I wouldn't be in business class but in First of course.

I'd bring a concorde back into service and take that - money was no object right?
