Hi guys, I'm shortly going to be travelling through LHR and have access to the clubhouse, I had previously been in as a guest of an UC passenger, but this time it's through my own UC ticket.

Last time we didn't really take much advantage of the Clubhouse as it was early morning, but this time, we are planning to arrive a little earlier. What is the pricing policiy inside? What do you pay for, what is free etc?

Thanks.

Everything is free.

The only outlay (and it is voluntary) is tipping the Cowshed staff if you get a treatment

Does that include all food, and treatments?

Is the Clubhouse for UC passengers ONLY, or can you purchase a card/entry in some way?

I normally also tip the shoeshine man a couple of quid...

Those holding a UC ticket for that day for a flight leaving LHR, those with a flying club Gold Card - but must be flying on a VS flight that day (so a gold card holder flying economy or premium). Some other top tier frequent flyer cards allow access too - but, again you must be flying with VS that day.

If you book a holiday with virgin holidays you can purchase access for 60 per person.

There was a trial of allowing a limited number of pax to buy at check-in but this (I think) is now over.

The latter two categories has led to several heated debates about 'devaluing' the clubhouse experience
