Hello!
I am flying upper next month from Gatwick. Is it possible to advise the Gatwick Clubhouse in advance who our guest are (they aren't flying in upper) incase they get to the airport before us?

Not sure. I've been asked at the Clubhouse reception if I have a guest coming later, so their name could be 'on the door', but not sure how you would get a guest's name to them in advance of your arrival, or whether they have a way of policing that without seeing your documents. I suspect it could be difficult if you're the one that arrives second - they might just have to wait for you in the main terminal.

I'm not sure if you're able to do it in advance of your arrival to the clubhouse, but you can certainly give your guests details if you've already arrived and they're arriving later.
I was travelling UC and my parents were in PE, as I could only take 1 in as a guest, a friend who was also travelling UC offered to take the other in. I arrived with my parents in the clubhouse (Gatwick) prior to my friends arrival, I asked if it was possible both my parents could come in with me at that time as my friend was going to take the other in as his guest when he arrived, I was asked to verify my friend's name, flight details and if he was travelling with anyone else - it was no problem at all doing it that way but not sure if it would have worked had they been travelling by themselves and both myself and my friend were arriving after them.

The difficulty as I would see it is that, although the Clubhouse would have details of who is scheduled to travel that person might not turn up for a variety of reasons - delays, late arrival at the airport or indeed not even travelling at all. In that case some-one would have been admitted who had no entitlement to be there at all.

Agree with HL. I would arrive at the Clubhouse either with your guests or with details of them if they are arriving after you (I have done this and there are no issues at all). As you are the one entitled to bring a guest you really ought to be there first. Entry is a privilege of the ticket/card holder, not the guest.
Thanks,
Sarah
