Row 1 or row 2?

Just booked my first time on VX next week. So which is it, row 1 or row 2?

I am usually a confirmed row 2 boy on BA shorthaul due to the limited legroom, under seat baggage and seat pocket space in row 1. Does the same apply on VX or is row 1 pole position?

Cheers, H

seat expert says that Row 1 on the A320 has increased legroom but reduced storage. Row 2 is 'average' and with limited recline

Row 1 - the wall in front stops you stretching as far, but no one in front of you and a view through the plastic of the FAs.

Row 2 - you can stretch further, but if row 1 reclines it reduces the space a bit, but the leg room is great so not to much.

If you plan to work, row 1, if you plan to relax, row 2.

Row 1 for me. For me there's plenty of legroom in row 1 (I am however vertically challenged) and there's no problem with storage space. As slink says you get a great view of the FAs and all the gadgetry too.
Enjoy - we were very impressed with VX First. Got to love those seats [:D].

Being vertically enhanced [:p] row 1 still gives me plenty of leg room.

1A is great if you want private space.
