Hi everyone,

Sorry if this question has been posted before -- I couldn't find any information about it. I'm set to fly on VS39 this summer, LHR-ORD. The flight is scheduled to take place onboard an A340-300. Now my question is whether these planes have been updated with the new economy cabin / IFE systems? I checked airliners.net to find any information or pictures, yet was unable to determine anything. All answers are greatly appreciated!

Keep flying VS

Only one of the 343 fleet - G-VSUN - is fitted with the newer style Y seats and the V-Port entertainment system.

Many thanks!
I suppose there's little way of knowing whether I'll be on this particular machine, say, on June 30th bound for ORD?

Until the day there is no way to know which exact a/c you will be on, this is done for many reasons including security.

Sadly no as no registrations are known in advance and aircraft changes can be made up until the last minute. This particular aircraft is not fixed to a specific route either.

The best you can do is to keep your fingers crossed when you look out of the window of the gate the day you fly.
