Hi,

Due to fly home mco to man on Friday. It's our third and last trip in UC and we have only just discovered that on departure from Man that we could use the fast track security lane! Doh! Does the same thing exist at Mco?

Thanks in advance, apologies for typos, using mobile phone!

Ali.

Neil is correct.

However when you arrive at security you will see all the british passengers enter security under the Airside 4 sign (which has VS listed). If you go to the left of the entrance to the Hyatt (which is an escalator) you will see the entrance to security under the Airside 3 sign (which will have Soutwest airlines listed). Airside 3 and 4 security bring you out in the same place. The queue for airside 3 is often much, much shorter than airside and there is nothing stopping you from using Airside 3 security. Once through security just follow signs for the Airside 4 train across to the gates.

Or go immediately to the right of the Hyatt elevators, to the left of the escalator.
A narrow entrance that opens out
Marked for frequent flyers. [;)]

Hi Katie, the lane is for anyone, but the last time we were there in Feb the frequent fliers signs weren't there any more - don't know if that was a trial or they had just dissappeared.

Bill's still right however, that line is usually the shortest, but to be honest, the staff at mco are 'usually' pretty slick and I don't think we have ever taken more than 10 - 15 mins to get through and its more likely just a few minutes.

The last time we flew from MCO (as Gold+ (me - others Gold or nothing)) and all 5 in Upper, the check in agent walked us to security and to the frond of the line.

This line used to be restricted to US frequent flyers (registered and US citizens only) It has now been opened up to everyone.
Last time I went through was Dec. and then they still had signs up for frequent fliers only but the US only restriction was removed; in fact there was no check.
The problem was that there were still a few who had no idea going through - and a number of US businessmen getting quite irascible with them.
It does work however - the obscure entrance dissuades most ;)
