Got two Econ to PE Amex rewards to use up and wondered how this worked? By this I mean what class needs to be available to allow me to do this?

Looking to head to Miami later in the year so hopefully this will work.

Is it the same PE class as a normal reward seat?

You have to use miles to 'buy' an economy reward seat and then the AmEx voucher will upgrade you to PE. There only has to be U class availability (this is the PE reward class) for you to do these, there does not have to be T class(econ reward class).
