Can anyone advise how many children ONE adult can take on a Virgin Flight
In particular, if you were brave enough could one adult take a three kids aged 2, 4 & 7
Is this detailed on the Virgin Web site anywhere
Thanks

Fascinating question - I guess there is a limit (legal or otherwise) for say school groups. But if they're your kids and you are brave enough, three should be no problem at all!

If there isn't then it is worth remembering that the adult will need to be responsible for all 3 children in an emergency. That aside, I used to take my two at that age - if they are used to flying and there is enough entertainment prepared to keep them occupied it will be hard work but you get through it somehow and they love it!

I'd suggest a quick call to VS, especially given the ages...can't see it being a problem, however would be best to get a firm answer (I'd also take name of who give it you), before you commit to booking tickets.

Well my mother took myself and my younger siblings on a VS flight back in the day, we were aged 4, 2 and half and 3 months at the time and there was no real problem. As Jacki says the only thing to remember is an emergency situation. However given the age of your children I would imagine it wont be a problem. The only issue my mother had was at meal times but the crew were fantastic apparently.

Fantastic!
This means I can leave my wife down the back with our three while I use miles to upgrade.
Cheers

Given the ages of the children I'd deffo give VS a call to get the latest chapter and verse - afterall the regulations do change and what was OK even a couple of years ago might not be now.
But you would have the sheer practicality of dealing with e.g. seating issues let alone keeping them entertained for a long flight to sort out beforehand and then deal with on the flight.
The CC will be able to give you some help but it will be limited especially if it is a busy flight as they have all the other pax to look after.

AFAIK the only rule applies to one adult travelling with two infants under the age of two. In this case, an extra seat needs to be purchased for one of the infants to use a child seat whilst the other sits on the parents lap using an infant seat belt.
