This seems quite cheap in First class, anyone know what availability is like normally, and what the product is?

Actually they don't have a First class product on this route, so it would be in J...

Don't waste your miles, the J product is pretty much a PE product for any other airline.

http://www.airchina.com.cn/PassengerSer ... lass.shtmlLooks like angled recline, cradle seat style, not proper J recline. I'd suspect that the soft product would not be up to the same standard as VS/BA/SQ, etc, but the menus looks quite good (if you like Asian food). Looks like they have a 'book the cook' style offering where you can choose what you want to eat in advance.
What is the rate for a redemption to PEK?

I'm looking for a TR over on A'Net I saw, it does a good job of detailing the product, overall I was not impressed at all.

Do they run an F cabin out of FRA ?
It may be worth taking a hop over to FRA if they do.

Virgin site says you can only redeem LHR-PEK-LHR (but it also says you can do it in F)
