Well at least I think it is but I thought I'd ask. Given the choice of a row of four seats in Y or a PE seat which would you pick?

Probably four seats so can lie across them.

Depends on whether you could guarantee getting the 4 seats together. Not that easy to lie across them if they're in different rows.

Lol @ Pete.
I would go for the 4 Y seats provided I knew I would def get four. The cost saving alone would be worth it IMO.

Neil, aren't you supposed to be watch Peter Kay right now, not posting on V-Flyer? Or was the Rick Astley warm-up act too much to bear?

I've had a row of four Y seats, and while they aren't great to sleep on, they are certainly better than a PE seat, and cheaper

Is that what passes as entertainment in Hull these days?
Anyway. I'd personally rather have a guarenteed PE seat than take pot luck on grabbing 4 Y seats

The row of four was guaranteed as the flight had closed, just had to swing my legs up!

Definitely the row of four - if you were certain you'd get to keep them all. But could you be certain someone wouldn't jump out of their seat and try and get some extra room for themselves by bagging two the other side. And the ability to raise the armrests would be crucial.

Well the FSM came back and asked if I wanted to move up to PE which I declined, he then made an announcement saying that the purple seats were extra legroom and passengers had to pay for them so please don't move there!! Excellent service I think. I did PE bulkhead on the way back and that was actually pretty good too I think for the daytime flight PE was the way to go but for the night flight the 4 in way is better.
