OLCI

Right I've just checked in for my flight tomorrow (VS37 to BGI), but I haven't been given the seats that I pre booked (61 H&K) I've been allocated 23 A&B. There is an empty seat next to us, and there are actually quite a few seats available still.

But why do they do this? Whats the point of pre selecting your seats and when you check in they change them. This has happened to me a few times with Virgin.

It could be that they have been re-allocated by Special Assistance, for a family group or any number of other reasons.

Any seating requests are just that, a request.

The a/c operating your route might have changed and row 61 on some a/c are the extra leg room seats, which are chargeable, so that could be a reason for the change of your seats.

It was just that Neil, those seats became extra leg room seats, we ended up paying £30 each for them and it was well worth it.
