Just to let you know onboard services are being revamped.... Prezels are coming back in W & Y. Afternoon Tea in W to be improved and served on a tray. The cake stand returns in J ...with more cakes!! Also better quaity and bigger meals in J. More to come aparently but thought youd like some good news rather than more cut-backs!

Excellent news . Any idea when the changes will be implemented?

These were among the rumours I'd heard from crew too.

Good news that VS have decided to reinstate these items, I hope it's as a result of listening to customer feedback, and the comments recieved by cabin crew members being written up in the flight reports.

Even better news though is that someone is listening!

Wonderful news, they may seem small steps but it does show VS are listening and are happy to admit they sometimes get it wrong. Perhaps they have now designed a more aerodynamic cake stand! ^)

Fantastic really pleasing to hear all cabins are being in effect revised, i dont remember the cake stands or decent food for that matter, but it really will be nice to enjoy some new aspects of the service........well done VS.

I would expect at the next menu cycle changeover, which would be in June, unless it's going to be later on this year.

Any staff in the know that can say anything?

Ah that's great to hear - particular of meal improvements to J. Would love to know when VA plan to implement these improvements.

The 2 bags of pretzels in my rucksack from my flight on 3rd June confirms this

In fact they left them on a tray at the top of the stairs where all the fruit is for people to go and help themselves - don't remember them doing that before all the cutbacks!
