This is a first for me - posting while in flight.
Currently onboard a Virgin America flight from LAX to Washington, and taking advantage of the $5.95 'night flight' internet service.
Quite the novelty.

It is fun! I did it a few years ago on Singapore Airlines and there was something cool about posting on a message board at 38000 feet!

Awesome Pete y) y)
Didn't make sense for paying $5.95 for the quick hop we did, but for your "red eye"

Hope you missed the amazing east coast tornadic/thunderstorm/microburst! Full moon, clear skies and then wham, flying into pockets of thundercloud, lightening bam, bam, bam, torrential rain and sound and....gliding right out into silent moonlight, only to hit another one ten mins later. Everyone with headsets and curtains down missed it.

They had a sponsorship deal with Google then. That has now expired.
