V-Flyer iPad Compatibility

Put in a couple of tweaks this evening to turn off the chat bar on the iPad (and remove the 'no flash installed' warning on the homepage).

Could iPad users out there give it a test and see if this fixes the problem of the chat bar staying in the middle of the content?

Pete, along the same theme, I have that chat bar in the centre of the content when accessing the site by my android phone.

Crispin was also reporting that problem, and I've been meaning to fix it - need to get the browser string and a few minutes of dev time (and I'm pretty sure Crispin has already told me the browser string...)

Hi Pete, both Crispin and I detailed our browser strings(!!!) here. Apart from the phone model they are the same.
Thanks, David y)

I've added Android to the chat bar exceptions - let me know if you're still seeing the bar on your phone.

Hi Pete, it is still there but now it moves!

If I go to say Buns recent TR; as the page loads the bar initially appears at the end of the first paragraph after "here endeth the Bad portion of the TR".

As the page loads and smilies appear it disappears and reappears across Jacki's response.

Same thing (the bar moving) happens on other TRs too.

Ok, so I'm probably not getting the browser string back as expected then. In theory if it sees 'Android', it shouldn't display at all (much like the way if it sees 'iPad', it suppresses the chat bar).

A tricky one to troubleshoot, as I don't have an Android to try it on (and the emulator is part of a stupidly-huge SDK download...)
