Hi,

2 questions.

I'm flying to LA on Monday. I'm flying BMI to London from Manchester, then getting on VS07. What's the earliest/latest I can check in for the BMI flight as i'm travelling internationally on the connection or doesn't it matter?

Also Because i've got 5 flights on my book ref. Which means I can't log on to the Virgin 'Check my booking' which I think is...stupid and should be sorted out. So i've requested my seat with The Flight Centre (who i made the booking with) will this stand or will other people get choice of it as they've chosen through the online check in over me?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Elis

BMI domestic check-in still only requires to be at the airport 1 hour before your departure time.

BMI often don't let you check-in too early though and wont take you bags off you more than a couple of hours before your departure time at the airport, so they might make you wait. What they might do though is bump you onto an earlier flight if you do arrive at the airport early.

I use BMI quite a lot from MAN>LHR and BMI have bumped me onto earlier flights several times now as they have a lot of flights most days on the MAN>LHR route now. Sometimes we are talking 1 flight every 30 mins or so at certain times!!

Even if your booking is all done via VS, you should still be able to use BMI online check-in at -24hours before your domestic flight (just enter your VS booking reference into the BMI online check-in website)

VS online online check-in will only work for you VS flights but you should still be able to select seats as normal.

Thanks for your reply.

I can't access the online services as I have more than 4 flights(I have 5) on my booking ref: Their websites 'can't cope' as i've been told by Virgin customer services. So I can't look at my flight details on any website. So i've only been able to ask The Flight Centre to reserve my seat.
