I've made a few PE trip to/from Johannesburg this year and each tiem a breakfast is served, which was about the same I remember VS served in Economy.

recently I did an Economy trip to Newark but the ont he return flight (VS002) breakfast was just a muffin and a drink

Is that the standard breakfast now? for PE too?
Shame I miss their full English

A full breakfast is served in PE and Y on flights to JNB, CPT, HKG, NRT and PVG.

The muffin/cereal bar is served on flights home from JFK, EWR, IAD and BOS.

In addition on flights home from the Caribbean, ORD (IIRC), MIA, MCO, LAX, SFO and LAS, there is a hot item served as well - usually an egg and bacon/egg and cheese muffin/bagel.

There is also a fruit bowl in PE for breakfast on all flights.

Just wish those hot breakfast items didn't all contain egg :$ I've ended up with nothing several times because I don't like egg. I suppose egg is easy to cook then re-heat.

Bring back those warm sausage rolls you used to get on the HKG flights!!

mitchja,

I totally agree, the egg options are disgusting - even the smell is enough to put me right off, the breakfast is by far the worst aspect of any PE/Y flight...
