Virgin sale over summer?? Flying to Washington in Nov

Hi there

We are looking at maybe going out to see our friends in the US in nov/dec. We would be flying Heathrow to Washington then new York to Heathrow. At the moment a miles plus money fare with virgin is £ 387 plus 2000 miles. I'm not familiar with these routes and have never flown at this time of year so don't know what is considered a good fare, also I've never paid any attention to sales around now or to these destinations, so I need some help, is there normally a sale over the summer and would these flights at this time likely to be in a sale? I know you can't know for sure but normally there is a pattern from year to year

Hope some virgin experts can help me out

There are some rumours that some sort of sale might be on the cards, but nothing has been announced yet.

Just one point to consider, and that is that NYC is very popular during Dec with a lot of people going for Xmas shopping etc, so if you are looking to use a MPM fare, which are limited, then it might be worth booking sooner rather than later and to be honest, the price you currently have is quite good.

Neil thanks for the reply it seems like a good price to me but it's an unknown area for me so wasn't sure what the norm was. Just need to sort details out then might book sooner rather than later

Thanks
