Hello,

My system is stating a near 24 hour delay to VS27 today 5th August.

Does anyone know the reason?
Presumably tech and will be a knock on effect.

It is difficult to get the exact reason for a delay/cancellation as Virgin don't publish any of this information.

Hopefully, one of our members who have some inside info might be along with a bit more info.

I'm not at work today I'm afraid, otherwise I'd look to see why it's showing a delay. I'll check with Flight Ops when I get in tomorrow morning for you :)

Ok that is great.

Got some people going.

I am on Friday the 13th Gatwick/Orlando in PE. Hope i do not have a similar problem!
Bit worried seeing delays to this flight regularly.

But being a business travel consultant, I should take it all in my stride.

I'm on this flight on 16th - my first UC trip, so I hope that there is no knock-on. :)

Looks like G-VLIP is the culprit for this delay.
Presumably technical!

Strange, the schedule calendar on this website as far as i can see shows no delay for this flight. But a departure 1054, it does not show that is 10.54 nearly 24 hours late.
Maybe the system cannot differentiate actual dates of departure?

The VS site says:
Flight number VS 027
Departure date 05 Aug 2010
Route London (LGW) to Orlando (MCO)
Scheduled departure time 05 Aug 11:15
Actual departure time 06 Aug 10:54
Scheduled arrival time 05 Aug 15:25
Actual arrival time 06 Aug 14:46
