xWhere to sit on VS002?

Not 100% sure whereabouts to sit in UC on this flight. There's a snooze zone but having looked at a seat map, it doesn't mention this (I'm probably missing something), so I don't want to select a seat and find I'm slap bang in the middle of it! (One post I searched for said VA say Rows 1-4, yet the poster mentioned Rows 1-7).

Also, should I wish to try the food offerings, where to sit to have some chance of what I want?

Finally, when does the winter menu start? (Flying Nov).

Personally, I prefer the seats that don't face into another seat. So for me I try and get 1 -7 in K.

IMHO, anything about delivery of food etc, is all down to the individual CC you are assigned.

If you are travelling on a 744 then Snooze Zone is rows 1-5 upstairs. Any of these seats are good.

If you are travelling on a 346 then Snooze Zone is row 1-4. The K seats are more private as you are facing a wall however 2K is next to the toilet so 3/4K are the better choice.

If you are in Snooze Zone and wish to eat, you will usually be invited to sit at the bar to do so.

Dinner in the EWR clubhouse is usually very good, though I know some people find it a little too early but then if you eat on board you severely cut into sleeping time on what can frequently be a 6 hr flight.

Avoiding the snooze zone, 8A to 11A are good, they also have no one opposite looking at you. Re. eating on board, it does happen that choices run out, but frankly never so far to me.

I had this on the VS2 a couple of years ago. I checked on the seat map that it was Rows 1 - 4 so chose 6 or 7 thinking I would be 'safe'. But the CC closed the curtain that was just behind me. I thought I would get ignored but I wasn't. I still had the full at-seat service etc and was regularly checked upon.

Personally I would make sure I was futher back if I was on a 346 in future as the curtain felt a little claustophobic to me.

I'd agree about trying to get a wall facing seat - it adds a touch more privacy.

Choices don't usually run out on Good Night Flights as you never really know how many people will eat or sleep.

Well, I've put 10A into my booking. Rows 1-4 come up as the snooze zone and out of all of UC, the two middle seats at the front are unavailable.
10A seems to be facing the back of the middle seats and is half way between the snooze zone and bar so hopefully will be fine.

Agree with slinky. I've selected that one for my flight later this month

16 other seats seem to be taken now on top of mine. Got neighbours on both sides now as well.
