I am trying ot organise some flights for my parents and I to have a quick NYC break in December.

I seem to have missed the PE sale somewhere along the way and wondered if anyone had any experience if another would be held later on?

I have looked at UC but those prices are sky high so PE would work well, but is is showing £984 return on 10th December, returning after 3 nights in NYC.

I know December is busy to NYC but wondered if anyone had any tips on if I shoudl wait to see what happens, though keen to book before the price get's sky high too.

Any comments, thoughts would be appreciated. I have highlighted VS045/VS046 because these flights are operated by a 744 and prefer this to the A346.

This is the classic 'how long is a piece of string' question.

There could be another sale, then again there might not! It appears that loads are high at the moment so why have a sale if your product is selling well?

Prices could come down but then again they could go up - again why drop prices if your product is selling?

The question to ask yourself is 'Am I happy to pay £984 return?'

Also (if I have read you right) you are returning to the UK on Friday 10th December after 3 nights. Most cheaper flight offers need a saturday night stay. That might be an option to consider as well - shifting your dates could bring the price down significantly.

Just did a dummy booking for PE for 7th to 10th Dec and its coming up as £ 2050 (as a W) but coming back on the Sunday its £ 944 (K).

Indeed, travelling on 10th Dec and returning the 13th Dec. Will give it another week or so and I might just have to bite the bullet so to speak!
