OK, I know Tinks will be posting this in good time and I won't make this a sticky but today/yesterday (I'm only just back home) the new menu was on VS18. It was so new they even hadn't got the printed menu and we had a typed sheet on our seats so Tinks can flesh it out more.
Starters
Grilled prawns and spicy lentils with eggplant confit
Asparagus soup with horseradish creme (delicious)
Entrées
Braised short ribs with bordelaise sauce
Seared mahi mahi, finger potatoes, basil tomato concasse
Caramelised onion tart with asparagus sauce (again delicious but the sauce was actually the soup!)
Desserts
Hot filled carrot bundtlet with walnut pieces
Raspberry bakewell tart with raspberry sauce (nice but the sauce was too sweet even for me)
No mention of the cheeses.
The crew didn't even know the wines as they couldn't check till after take-off
The breads were garlic, wholemeal and I can't remember what!

Thanks HL - sounds very nice (for a change). Always find the inbound menu a little of a struggle.
Will endevour to try something different to your choices tonight for another sample

Eggplant, asparagus and horseradish are in my top 5 most detested food stuffs!
No idea even what mahi mahi is.

Mmm, not too impresses. I do like asparagus soup, but not horseradish. I wish they would do some plainer tasty food.
Mahi Mahi is a mild fish, called the dolphin fish(nothing to do with dolphin). I have eaten it a few times in Florida and it is usually nice large white flakes.
Hope the ribs aren't too messy!!!

I had the asparagus soup without horseradish and it was delicious.
The guy in front of me had the ribs and they didn't look too messy

For the last few times that I have flown back from MCO it hasn't mattered what the dessert menu states. Whatever it was, "it hadn't been loaded at LGW, sorry ! " And I have never really fancied the offered alternative!

New menu is now posted in full. No idea where the asparagus soup came from yesterday as it should have been potato
PE menu to follow at some point.

That's what we got and what was printed on the typed sheet that served as a menu. Mind you I did wonder as I had the soup and the onion tart which essentially was sitting in more of the soup!

Hope the ribs aren't too messy!!!
They are beef short ribs rather than pork baby back or spare ribs, completely different cooking method and presentation, and no sticky sauce to lick off your fingers.

Yep, in fact often had them served off the bone. Think of it more like braised beef, beef Burgundy style, than short ribs with tons of far too sweet BBQ sauce over them.
In fact, while there's no denying this is a cheap cut of meat in comparison to a filet steak, on a plane this kind of thing comes out so much better if you like it in the first place. It won't taste all that different than it would at home, and it's the sort of food that is often better reheated.
