Miles Plus Money And Connecting Flight Question

Hi
I'm wishing to purchase 3 Upper Class flights with miles and money (very good price to San Francisco), but need a connecting flight from Edinburgh.
Is it possible firstly to purchase the cheaper flights with Virgin and pay the full price for the connecting flights with Virgin also, so I can get the full luggage allowance and transfer of bags?

Cheers in advance.

I can't see why you won't be able to book connecting flights along side a MPM booking. Just give UC reservations a call to make the booking and explain to them what you want. Providing it is all on one ticket you will be able to book your bags all the way through, but I am pretty certain you only get the luggage allowance for the internal flight of the carrier you are flying, not the VS UC allowance.

Cheers, seems Virgin and BMI don't share luggage allowances for UC, but BMI and ANZ Business Premier do. Strange.
Just another way for us Northerners to get the sharp end of the sword!!
