I am hoping that VS re-list a flight on Nov 13th - JFK-LHR VS10 to be used as an Air Miles flight. I have little experience in this, and wondered if anyone could tell me that if it is likely that the VS revenue dept will re-list this flight in UCS again and if so how long before the departure do they normally do it?
I know its an unknown but would appreciate the guestimations of those VS gurus out there.
Cheers

Sorry to sound negative, but the answers you got
in your thread from only a week ago and the fact the nobody else could help give you an idea, really do show what an impossible question you are asking to answer. Unfortunately nobody is going to be able to say if or when they will release any.
There are so many factors that help decide if revenue management will release any further seats, and all you can do is keep checking on a daily basis, but it literally could be a couple of days before if they decide to.

Currently JFK-LHR flights on Nov. 13 are wide open - straight 9s in all fare classes on all flights.
If you want to, go to the VS Web site right now and you'll see the VS4 is available for miles redemption. Do you have to take the VS10?
More specifically to your point, given the current load, and considering that many things can change, I'd expect availability to open up closer to the time. This can happen about a week out, then a couple of days out.
Why not book the VS4 now and if the VS10 opens, change it. If not, it's only 4 hrs earlier.

Sorry if this seams blunt.
You seam wedded to this particular flight on this date - is there a reason for this? How flexible can you be?.
If it is absolutly vital you are on the VS10 then I think you should seriously consider givving up on waiting for a reward seat to open up and pay hard cash. That is the only 100% way of ensuring you and your Mrs are on it.
If you want the VS10 simply to give you more time in NYC then consider (as I previously suggested) the VS02 from EWR which departs only an hour or so earlier.
If using up your miles is important (say its the only reason you can afford to be in UC)then you will have to bite the bullet and book one of the other JFK - LHR flights with reward availability.
With reward flights it really comes down to taking whats on offer - VS are under no obligation to offer reward seats on a particular flight or a particular date - especially on a multi flight route like NYC- LHR.
My own example is earlier this year I wanted to be on the VS45 and VS10 to and from NYC on a reward ticket but these wern't available so I was 'left' with the VS01 and VS02 - and that was being a flexible with my dates as well.
It was either that or not go at all. I went.

Well... there's never a 100% guarantee...

Thanks guys, much appreciated I know its an impossible one to answer, I cant leave on anything earlier than VS10 on 13th so I've booked 14th hoping to switch back and pay any penalty if VS10 opened up on 13th in UCS. I didnt realise its wide open at the moment so thats a good sign. As an aside is the Load Check functionality going to be working again on this site soon as its really useful?
Thanks again
