San Francisco aircraft?

Hi,

Data here suggests that VA always use a 747-400 on the San Francisco route; that's what I remember flying on previous trips.

However, our honeymoon flight, (12/12/10, Upper rewards - first time - v excited!), is still showing as an A340-600.

Any idea if this is going to change and if so when? We've got seats 3 & 4 K booked, on advice from the good people here; worried it may be a last minute change and we'll not have so much choice on the 747. Although the seat map looks pretty empty at the moment.

Appreciate some thoughts.

Thanks,

Craig.

San Francisco will be operated by a A346 once again during the UK winter season as the 744 usually goes off to operate the JNB flight.

Tinkerbelle,

That makes sense - presumably SF isn't a massive winter destination whereas South Africa is enjoying her summer.

I'll stop checking the seat map daily now!

Thanks for the swift reply.

Craig.

Count yourself lucky, on my return from SFO we have A340-300. Just hoping it's G-VSUN for V-Port.
