Row 75 Premium Economy Upper Deck

Was wondering if people could help me out here. We are travelling out to Antigua, Premium Economy, on the 21st January, but due to booking late, the only seats left for pre-booking are downstairs, row 82.

I presume, being an exit row that row 75 on the Upper Deck cannot be pre-booked, and was wondering what people think are the chances of getting this row at check in?

Would I need to unbook my seats on Row 82 (I would like two seats together so have pre-booked these for the time being), we are going to use the twilight check-in as it is quite a drive to gatwick from us (in Lowestoft) so will be staying overnight at the airport, would this increase our chances?

Really prefer the upper deck (as do most people), but left it late in booking this holiday :( Any help greatly appreciated.

At the moment only 60% of seats are available for pre-request amd this has obviously been reached if you got the 'last' seats.

The remaining 40% (less exit rows and a couple of others) will be opened up at OLCI.

So what you need to do is when OLCI opens check to see what other seats are available and then choose the best ones you can. There is some experience of seats being released a couple of hours before OLCI opens so thats a further option to try and see if other seats are available.

This does not stop you asking at LGW when you use twilight check-in if the exit row seats are available.

Also, the front part of the upper deck is reserved for VH passengers but if they are not all taken up they get released into the common pool. Keep on checking in the run up to your holiday

Thanks honey lamb, I will certainly keep an eye out for seats opening up.

So, having never done OLCI myself, can I allocate my seats during that, or would I need to pre-book my seats the normal way nad then go through the OCLI process.

I would get some seats now, then see what you can change to at OLCI, and then you can try and bag row 75 at the airport if you want.

Despite getting onto online checking dead on 24 hours prior to our flight, no additional seats available according to the seat map :(

Will try at the airport when we get down there later this evening.

You really will have the most amazing time and like Flabound has said, definitely check out Shirley heights!!!

I really enjoyed the boat trip around the island! Gave you a chance to see all 365 beaches and Eric clapton and oprahs, holiday retreats! Very lush!
