Can you cancel after 3 months with no penalty ? If so, it's a very good deal

As an update, I just verified that it is possible to cancel after 3 months with no penalty, so have just put in my application, with the minimum policy of £5 a month.

A bit of a no brainer - I'll even cover her indoors!

I got my scanned post through today and two sets of documentation from Friends Provident. Turns out they will be greasing the palm of Virgin Money with £120 for our business! It doesn't state a cancellation period on the documents - only my 10 year policy. I emailed them and confirmed you can cancel at any time, even 3months in.

£5 a month got me £109,654 of cover

I also got my doc through today - they quoted online £13.21 for £150k cover, but the premium has increased to £26.51 :0 stating that they have now taken into account my pilots licence!

Seems a little steap to me, but worth doing for 3 months to get the miles!

LV Jay - I think you can just specify you want to know what cover you can get for £5 a month ? That worked for me.

Yep, I did that too and have just sent the docs back today. It's such a good deal, they must be really impressed with their take up rate and then they will get a bit of a shock in 3 months!

I think you get the miles after the 3rd payment has been taken - hence they will be getting a lot of policy's canceled in 3 months.

Anyone had their miles credited yet?

Still not for me.
Just checked and they have taken 3 amounts from my acount so what to do?
Do you cancel and then chase the miles or wait for the miles to be credited but have no long how it will be.

I'm going to wait until the 4th payment and then call Virgin Money. I wouldn't cancel until you get the miles ...

Roughly how long did it take between them taking your third payment and you getting the miles?

3rd payment went out on 7th December
Miles were credited on 17th December
Miles visible in my account on 20th December

just come across this after reading all the old posts! good offer if i get the points! so that will be 10'000 for reccomending 5 friends, plus 5'000 for this! good times!!!!
