just booked 3 return trips from US back. end of jan is fine but the end of Feb is showing VS028 and 027 as config 3 (the LHR 747).

this is on MCO-LGW-MCO. first time i have seen it with all UC on upper deck - is this part of the refit/new plane thing or did i just get unlucky ? (booked PE and still downstairs)

what chance of reverting back to LGW 747s and getting the bubble ?

Could be a return to the all-Upper Class, upper deck.

Perhaps they have realised what a bad idea mixing J and Y was and they have been taken outside and flogged for their mis-deed.

no idea, think i will wait and see, i used one of my upgrade vouchers to go from EC to PE and still get stuck downstairs

But you get the new purple leather PE seats and V-Port, so not all bad.

I don't think anyone knows what is going on with the Upper Deck at the moment especially as different seat plans keep showing up from what people have been posting on here. Just keep an eye on your booking and an eye on here for any news.

On the upside, if your aircraft stays the same then it sounds like an LHR 744. The PE cabin has the new seats and the whole aircraft is fitted with V-Port.

Leather PE trumps old PE for the short time I played with it the other day. I would say the fabric in the old PE seats is uncomfortable and the leather ideal for long journeys. It's V Port or nowt for me too when it comes to IFE, can't get on with the fuzzy looping stuff I had on your route from LGW last week.
